Date Night

We did a very brave thing this weekend.
We left Roscoe with a sitter for the very first time.
Dan and I went on a hot date.

We went out for a fancy meal and Dan took me to see my favorite Alabama band, The Pine Hill Haints
It was really hard to leave the little man behind but we knew he was safe and we really needed a date night.
The night was magical and I am looking forward to doing it again.
It helps that Roscoe is in love with his babysitter.

Roscoe is learning new things by the minute.
This weekend he found the books.
We have some baby proofing to do around here.
I think he will be up and running very very soon.
I don't know if I am ready for it all but he sure does charm our socks off.

love love,
Fritzi Marie

Oh, congrats! That's such a hard thing to do, my boys are 7&8 and we still haven't left them with anyone yet *ever*, it doesn't help that I home school! We're hoping to have a date night soon though now that they are getting older...we just have a hard time trusting people to watch them :/

You have such a beautiful family! The picture of little Roscoe at the books made me smile. Even from behind he is just too cute as he tries to pull a book out :) I'm sure he will be a real bookworm someday. Glad you had a great night out alone--sometimes that is so very necessary!
