Fairy Godmother Wishes

Dearest Friends,

Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful comments on my last post.
One of the greatest things about the Internet is the ability we all have to stay connected and support one another through our trials.
When Roscoe arrived I felt that I needed more privacy in my world.
It felt natural to keep more of my life private and only share certain things with family and close friends.
Because of that I'm afraid my last post may have been misunderstood by some.
While I do find this transformation to becoming a good Mommy very difficult, I need to tell you all that I am happy and well.
My life is filled with joyful moments and I am not depressed.
I am stressed out and tired but I am also in love with my life.
I love my little family so so much and I feel very grateful for all that we have.
I wish we I could send a Fairy Godmother over to your home and ask her to make your wishes come true.
Wouldn't that be wonderful.
Instead, I am here to be your friend, to send happy wishes your way, and to look for the happy moments each new day shares with us.

I hope that we can all be brave enough to admit that things can be hard and that some days take a lot of work and wear us out.

How lucky we are to have wonderful friends to cheer us on.

hugs,
Fritzi Marie

p.s. Did you see the new episode of Once Upon A Time
I am so hooked on that show.

I saw Once Upon a Time!!! I love that show so much and was thrilled to have Aurora and Mulan (two of my favorite fairy tale women) introduced to the story :D:D
And being a mommy is the worst and best most frusteratingly joyful transformation that there is. Good luck!

Becoming a mother is an incredible, life long experience. It bends us, shapes us, tears us down & builds us up. It is not easy and was never meant to be. You have the courage to admit that - a very admirable quality. A friend like you is surely a friend for life. We should all be so lucky as to have a friend like you at least once in our lifetime.

I'm right there with you Kitty. Becoming Matilda's Mommy transformed me. I am head over heels & couldn't be any happier. I feel that I was made for this!
But yes, oh yes, there are challenges! Likes this morning when Matilda decided to skip her nap and then have a major meltdown while I was trying to get ready to go out to meet some friends.
Oh boy.
As soon as I picked her up she was fine and as charming as usual. What is she going to say once she's mastered language I wonder!
You're a wonderful Momma and wife and sister and daughter and friend. You're a lovely, warm person.
It's such a neat thing that we are in the same chapter of our lives together.
I am excited to watch Roscoe grow up via your blog.

I would ask my fairy god mother to wave her wand and clean my home!
