Midnight Reads

Dearies,

We've been having lots of "quiet" time around our neck of the woods.
Bono Baby, Roscoe, and I are reading Emily Martin's new book, Oddfellow's Orphanage
Daniel surprised us and it was here waiting for us when we returned home from the hospital.
It is super cute, you should pick up a copy for Valentine's Day.
You deserve it.

I was able to put up a few Valentine's Day goodies between feedings and such.
It makes me happy to look at my pretty Valentine treasures when we are up in the middle of the night doing our thing.
I will say this, I have finally let myself relax enough to watch movies that I never allowed myself the time to watch before.
Yesterday I watched Disney's Tangled and today I watched Strictly Ballroom
I enjoyed them both so much.
Life is getting a little bit easier around here.
My body is feeling better everyday and Roscoe is adorable.

I hope you all have an amazing week.
I've been missing you.

love and hugs,
Fritzi Marie

Just keep in mind that for the first few months you are a dairy. Feedings seem to take up the majority of your life and you feel a little bit like a bump on a log. But if you find something scrumptous to do during them, like reading a good book or watching a really good movie, then they are less frustrating. Kizzie would nurse for 45min-an hour at a time and then eat every two hours or an hour and a half. Jeez! Max officially spent the summer as a ragamuffin running around on the porch in his underwear (which sometimes was taken off) and playing in the dirt while I sat on the porch and fed Kizzie. If you have a sling that you can adjust just right, then you can figure out how to feed the munchkin while baking or walking through IKEA. The only person who noticed what I was doing was the lady who leaned over to peek at the baby. Oops for her! You will get tired of being a prisoner in the house after awhile. Don't be afraid to nurse in public. Love you all and good luck!
