Dad CJ gifted me an Auburn University sweatshirt for Valentine's day this year.
It seems, I was the only one without Auburn wear in the family.
Our friends Jessilee and Lindsay hooked Roscoe up with baby Auburn gear.
We can't wait to take him on his first field trip to campus.
We aren't sport fans but we do love Auburn.
Mostly because Daniel teaches there and we are so thankful for his job.
My beautiful sisters are so thrilled to finally be Aunties.
We have been having so much fun together for the week here in Auburn.
Daniel and I have been enjoying a week of firsts for our Baby Roscoe.
Today is his one month birthday.
This week he took his first bath, went on his first neighborhood walk about, went to the grocery store, took a road trip to Atlanta, went to Target, went on an adventure to Birmingham, received his first kiss from Bono Baby, and met two of his Aunties.
He also went out to eat for the first time. We decided that his first dining experience needed to be memorable so we took him to the original Whistle Stop Cafe, Irondale Cafe.
We love the movie Fried Green Tomatoes and have been anxious to go to the cafe that the book and movie were based on.
Roscoe didn't care about the food but he loved being cuddled by his Auntie Beep and Auntie Buffy.
We enjoyed the fried green tomatoes and southern comfort food.
We couldn't be happier about having my sisters here for the week.
Roscoe and Bono Baby are so in love with them.
Daniel and I are too.
We hope you have a lovely week filled with magic and adventures.
"I found out what the secret to life is: friends. Best friends."
I am getting excited about Valentine's Day.
The only thing that is making me sad is that my parents are leaving tomorrow.
I don't think I would have made it through this past month without them.
These are my two favorite Valentine decorations.
The little girl is what I imagined our baby would have looked like if she had been a girl.
Daniel bought her for me last year and I treasure her so.
Daniel also gifted me this little boy Valentine for Christmas.
He was hiding in my Christmas stocking.
I think he looks a little bit like our Roscoe.
I just adore these special Valentine cards.
Roscoe is getting a little bit better at sleeping in his bed.
He was a bit spoiled by his Grannie who wanted to hold him the entire time she was visiting.
I was able to sneak in a bit of time to get everything ready for my boys for the holiday.
Impatient Bono Baby already opened his gift (a squeaky fox).
Thanks to my parents I was able to make Valentines for my family and send them out on time.
Dan and I even ventured out on a date last weekend.
It was weird to go out to dinner, just the two of us, after having a baby and making it through 9 months of pregnancy.
I will say this, there is no other person who I would rather go through any of this with.
I love that husband of mine, that's for sure.
I hope you have special plans for tomorrow.
Here's to making everyday a holiday and being lovey all year round.
