Slippery Baby

I haven't decided what I think is cuter, Roscoe just after he gets out of the bath

or seeing his little feet all dolled up in raccoon sockie footers.

Hope you are having a lovely week.

Aunties Make The World Turn Round

Roscoe, Bono Baby, and I spent our Monday recuperating from all the good times we had with my sisters.
Roscoe is the luckiest little guy to have such beautiful devoted Aunties.

We miss Auntie Beep so much.

We miss Auntie Buff too.

This photo of Annie and Roscoe just melts my heart.
Thank you sweet sisters for coming out to Alabama to spend the week with us.
We love you so so so so much.

love love,
Fritzi Marie

p.s. We can't wait to see you again.

I Miss You Already

When I lived in Washington I met my friend Pam
She befriended me when I was going through a very difficult time in my life and I needed her.
I like to think that we needed each other.
When we moved away from one another, Pam gifted me this bunny rabbit
I keep it up in my home and always think of her when I look at it.
Pam passed away this week and I am sad.
While I am heartbroken, I am also so thankful that I met Pam.
We went on many adventures and I will never forget the time we spent together.
She was a lovely woman and a dear friend.

I love you, Pam.

Building A Bag Of Tricks

This is going into my bag of tricks.
Roscoe and I need a repertoire of songs to calm us down.
We've been pretty fussy around here.
Bjork to the rescue.

Auburn Pride

Dad CJ gifted me an Auburn University sweatshirt for Valentine's day this year.
It seems, I was the only one without Auburn wear in the family.
Our friends Jessilee and Lindsay hooked Roscoe up with baby Auburn gear.
We can't wait to take him on his first field trip to campus.

We aren't sport fans but we do love Auburn.
Mostly because Daniel teaches there and we are so thankful for his job.

My beautiful sisters are so thrilled to finally be Aunties.
We have been having so much fun together for the week here in Auburn.

We hope you are all having a lovely week.
Sending you love from Auburn, Alabama.

Secret's In The Sauce

Daniel and I have been enjoying a week of firsts for our Baby Roscoe.
Today is his one month birthday.
This week he took his first bath, went on his first neighborhood walk about, went to the grocery store, took a road trip to Atlanta, went to Target, went on an adventure to Birmingham, received his first kiss from Bono Baby, and met two of his Aunties.

He also went out to eat for the first time.  We decided that his first dining experience needed to be memorable so we took him to the original Whistle Stop Cafe, Irondale Cafe
We love the movie Fried Green Tomatoes and have been anxious to go to the cafe that the book and movie were based on.

Roscoe didn't care about the food but he loved being cuddled by his Auntie Beep and Auntie Buffy.

We enjoyed the fried green tomatoes and southern comfort food.

We couldn't be happier about having my sisters here for the week.
Roscoe and Bono Baby are so in love with them.
Daniel and I are too.

We hope you have a lovely week filled with magic and adventures.

love love,
Fritzi Marie

Sweet Nothings

Dearest Friends and Family,
Happy Valentine's Day.
We feel so lucky in love this year.
So many of you have showered us with support and generosity with the arrival of our Roscoe.

We wish we could send each and every one of you heart shaped goodies and sweet nothings.
This cute puppy dog valentine is Roscoe's first offical valentine from his "Auntie" Amanda.
We will be putting it up with our decorations next year.
So cute.

We want you to know that we love you very much.
We hope that your Valentine's Day is filled with family, friends, and loved one's.
You all deserve to have a magical day.

love love,
Fritzi Marie, Daniel, Roscoe, and Bono Baby

We Thank You

Have I mentioned that I have fallen in love with this sweet little man?
I think our entire family is smitten with him.
As it should be.

Mommy and Dad CJ,

Thank you for bringing me back to health, taking care of us, and being here for this difficult but sweet time.
We feel so very blessed.
We will never forget the love and support you showered us with.
Thank you.

I am in love with this photo of me and my boys.

Roscoe is sending you all sweet baby kisses for Valentine's Day.

We love you all very much.

Fritzi Marie

p.s. Roscoe is three weeks old today.

Everyday Is A Holiday

I am getting excited about Valentine's Day.
The only thing that is making me sad is that my parents are leaving tomorrow.
I don't think I would have made it through this past month without them.
These are my two favorite Valentine decorations.
The little girl is what I imagined our baby would have looked like if she had been a girl.
Daniel bought her for me last year and I treasure her so.
Daniel also gifted me this little boy Valentine for Christmas.
He was hiding in my Christmas stocking.
I think he looks a little bit like our Roscoe.
I just adore these special Valentine cards.

Roscoe is getting a little bit better at sleeping in his bed.
He was a bit spoiled by his Grannie who wanted to hold him the entire time she was visiting.

I was able to sneak in a bit of time to get everything ready for my boys for the holiday.
Impatient Bono Baby already opened his gift (a squeaky fox).
Thanks to my parents I was able to make Valentines for my family and send them out on time.
Dan and I even ventured out on a date last weekend.
It was weird to go out to dinner, just the two of us, after having a baby and making it through 9 months of pregnancy.
I will say this, there is no other person who I would rather go through any of this with.
I love that husband of mine, that's for sure.

I hope you have special plans for tomorrow.
Here's to making everyday a holiday and being lovey all year round.

The Little Things

We went on a mini adventure to take our photo's with Roscoe this afternoon.

Roscoe slept through most of it.

Bono Baby was beyond thrilled to get out and about.

Roscoe is gaining weight and I am slowly getting back to my normal self.
It's the little things in life.

love love,

Midnight Reads

We've been having lots of "quiet" time around our neck of the woods.
Bono Baby, Roscoe, and I are reading Emily Martin's new book, Oddfellow's Orphanage
Daniel surprised us and it was here waiting for us when we returned home from the hospital.
It is super cute, you should pick up a copy for Valentine's Day.
You deserve it.

I was able to put up a few Valentine's Day goodies between feedings and such.
It makes me happy to look at my pretty Valentine treasures when we are up in the middle of the night doing our thing.
I will say this, I have finally let myself relax enough to watch movies that I never allowed myself the time to watch before.
Yesterday I watched Disney's Tangled and today I watched Strictly Ballroom
I enjoyed them both so much.
Life is getting a little bit easier around here.
My body is feeling better everyday and Roscoe is adorable.

I hope you all have an amazing week.
I've been missing you.

love and hugs,
Fritzi Marie
