Snippets and Such

Dear Friends,

I want to share with you some snippets from our camping trip in the Smoky Mountains.
It already feels like it happened so long ago.

We were able to reserve our favorite camp site, which sits next to Little River.
I love listening to the river as I drift off to sleep.

 We picnicked in Cades Cove.
I think Bono Baby remembered last year's picnic.
He was super thrilled to share funky potted meats with Daniel.

We collected acorns from our campsite.
We also made smores and ate yummy tin foil dinners.

We were there for the peak of fall and the leaves were beautiful.

We saw 6 bears, wild turkey, deer, two herons, chipmunks, a cute raccoon, and many sweet little puppies.

It was a magical weekend.
It is hard for me to imagine what our next trip to the Smokies will be like.
We will have Baby Coco with us then.
We can't wait to share with him all of our favorite places.
Oh, the adventures we will have.

love love,
Fritzi Marie

The first time that we went camping with Max he was over a year and he LOVED it. Mostly the campfire and dancing in the dark. Note, if you are camping with a little one that can walk, get some glow bracelets so that you can see them in the dark. Can't wait to take Kiz and Max this spring!

Dear Kat,
Your trip looks so beautiful and you look stunning. I'm so glad you had one of those perfect, magical weekends. Baby Coco has so many wonderful adventures in store for him because you and Dan are his parents. <3

Dearest Rae,

You must go to Cades Cove and drive up to Newfound Gap. We stayed in Elkmont and the views of Little River are from there but you will see so much if you just drive from Gatlinburg to Cades Cove. If you have time, visit the Walker Sisters cabin (it is my very favorite place to see).
Have fun dearie. I hope you get to go to Dollywood.
