Keats And Yeats Are On Your Side

Dearies,

How was your weekend?
We ended our (busy) weekend with a walk through one of our favorite local cemeteries.
Daniel and I love walking around cemeteries when the weather is cooler.
You see that tall brick headstone in the left corner of this photo?
Inside, a man is buried, Lying on his feather bed and his shoes are neatly placed beneath it.

We walked and talked and listened to The Smiths, Cemetery Gates on Dan's fancy phone while we explored.
Because we could.
If you live in the Auburn, Alabama, area, you need to check out the Pine Hill Cemetery Lantern Tour which is taking place this Thursday and Friday from 7-9pm.
We are so excited about it.
Tickets are available at the gates.

hugs,
Fritzi Marie

p.s.  We found some fabulous treasure over the weekend.  The historical district in downtown Opelika was having a neighborhood yardsale.
I'll share them with you tomorrow.

Oooh! I love the Pine Hill Cemetery too. It is so cool. I have never done the lantern tour though. I'll have to see if my husband feels like taking me on a date...

Dear Kat,
I can't wait to see what you found at the historical district yard sale!! What an incredible thing to stumble upon. I also can't wait to hear about the lantern walk. I'm glad you had such a beautiful day. Sorry I have been so busy and out of touch lately. :( I love you and think of you every single day! xo, Amanda

Just found your blog today - love it! I like walking through cemeteries - especially in the Fall. Most people I know think that's a little odd. : ) Now I can say there are others who do the same thing.
