Stomp Your Feet

Dan gives out his last final tomorrow and then he will "officially" be finished teaching his first year at Auburn University.
To celebrate I gave him this new (to him) guitar.
Maybe I will get a washboard so we can sound like this.

Spring here in Alabama is beautiful.
It smells like honeysuckle and magnolia outside.
Bono and I found blackberry bushes while on our walk this morning.
We ate blackberries for breakfast.

This afternoon we went to visit The Pine Hill Cemetery.
It is the oldest cemetery in Auburn.
One of our favorite bands (right now) used to practice there and they named themselves The Pine Hill Haints.
Great road trip music.

It is a magical time here in the south.
I hope it is beautiful where you are too.

love love,
Fritzi Marie

My Dad and both his sisters graduated from Auburn. I have several Auburn hoodies that I love to wear. :)

Spring time everywhere is pretty amazing I think. I keep picking up tulips at whole foods just to brighten up the house. If only the rain would stop.

I love old Southern cemeteries and battlefields. They're so rich in history and spirit they feel alive!
