Hand in Hand

Our plans for Friday night were shot down because of the crazy storms.
But, the weather was amazing on Saturday and we went to 11th Annual OLD 280 Boogie

We've decided that this event ranks in the top five things we have done while living in Alabama.

This Music & Arts Festival in Waverly, Alabama, was for us a day full of great music and pretty scenery.

Dan declared that it had the best festival food he has ever had.

I had the most amazing piece of corn on the cob (well, to be honest, I had two).

We saw our favorite Alabama band, Doc Dailey & Magnolia Devil play.

We also got to chit chat with them a bit too.
Really cool guys (and girl) who play really cool music.
This is my favorite song by them.

Any festival where Dan can eat a bacon goat cheese brownie and I can boogie is a good one.
It was magical.

Can't wait to hear what you did.
Please share.

hugs,
Fritzi Marie

p.s. We also came home with some local honey and pickles.
We want to share these pickles with you because they are the most amazing pickles, Wickles Pickles we have ever had.
NO KIDDING!

dan looks like another member of the band! what fun. we braved hot dog day around here. i'm thinking you all got the better end of the deal. we had monsoon rains, wind, and freezing temperatures. and no bacon goat cheese brownies (mark and dan were definitely separated at birth!!!). loving all the photos. i'm still in shock over the awful storms that ravaged the south. glad you guys are ok. sending you all my love.

How wonderful that you guys take advantage of so many wonderful things!
I'm heading into Manchester tomorrow to hunt vintage treasures and I will be thinking of you!
