January Doldrums

This "time of year" is wearing me down.
I'm feeling stir crazy and  uninspired.
I feel like this little boy, poking at rocks, waiting to see what happens next.

Here is my perk me up list:

-Impromptu date with my mister man.
-Put make-up on.
-Plan a mini road trip for this weekend.
-Finish some care packages for friends.
-Take Bono Baby on more walks.
-Meet up with girlfriends for lunch.
-Go to the local art museum this week.

love love,
Fritzi Marie

p.s. Am I the only one feeling this way?

You are not my dear sweet friend. I think this is a very hard time of year. The huge high of Christmas is over and we hit a slump. The grey weather doesn't help one little bit.
Low feelings are regular at this time of year in our household. I woke up to sunny skies which with in a few minutes turned dark and rain fell. I didn't get out of bed.
Cleaning my nest helps.
Making helps...but I don't feel like making. Mr Woo and I eat lots of comfort foods and crawl into bed to watch silly things on the internet and have a snooze. It won't be long til spring! By birthday is the 23rd so that is always something to look forward to, but this year feels a bit flat still.
Ach well. I need to write a list like yours!
You're pretty and you have a lovely life. It's sweet.

January is a hard month. You have a good list going. I always have to have a project to keep busy, makes the days fly by faster. I'm trying hard to organize my home and purge things (my garage sale pile is huge already!)

Maybe you can go on a photo adventure of your new town. I am fascinated by all things Southern (not including humidity) and would love to see where your town!

I'm feeling the same way. I need some sunshine, a warm breeze, and leisurely walk. La

I feel the same! This time of year is so not motivating! Sometimes it's hard to get through the day! I'd love to go on a lunch date with you! That would be magical!
Hugs and Love to you Dear!!

Oh Friday I really really need a perk up day...but today I am back to happy! Hope you can do all the things on that list my friend. xoxoxo

Me too! Partly because I'm waiting for uni to finish, and partly because work is dull at the moment. I agree that keeping yourself busy is the key, the other day I sat down at my desk and made sure I did a solid day's work - and felt much more productive and better for it.

Sending you some big kisses. I'm sorry you're feeling so restless. I am feeling on the other end of the spectrum and needing rest. I am hoping to plan a day of nothingness and bed rest soon!

mmmmm I hear ya. Having a hard time with my ny resolution to stay up and positive... sigh.
Can I adopt your list? Looks perfect for me... except replace bono baby with my booty.

I feel this way, too. I didn't even leave my apartment today. It's so rainy/slushy/wet here. Anyway, I hope that you feel better and I think lunch with the girls is always a good thing!

Nah your not the only one. I crave the weekends now because during the week it is just too boring & I feel uninspired. I blame the weather. I hope you got to go to the art musuem! That sounds like a blast! =)

Oh lady, you are not alone. I started the year all positive and I have hit a definite slump! Blah! But your list of perk-ups is great! Especially because some of those things are actually do-able for me :) May you have a cheery Friday and an even better weekend!
