Fire Engine Red Giveaway

The year of the FIRE ENGINE has officially begun.
I figured it would be easiest for us to take baby steps so let's start with lipstick.
I love Lipstick Queen lipstick.
It's subtle while still looking amazing and makes me feel pretty.
Daddy said to always wear a little bit of red so hello, Fired Up lip gloss, here we come.
To kick off a year of loving ourselves more, I want to give the winner a tube of Fired Up lip gloss.
(If you think you need another shade we can talk about that later).

To enter, be a follower of Fritzi Marie and leave a comment about something you do to make yourself feel like a fire engine.
Bono B. will pick the winner next Friday.

love love,
Fritzi Marie

p.s. Wear a little red today, let's shake things up.

Oooo I actually don't own any fire engine red lipstick but have been wanting to try this new trend!! I have a red dress that I love to wear because it makes the heads turn hehe so I feel like I'm a fire engine in it. Count me in please! =) I'm a follower!

Darling, I'm completely inspired. I don't own red lipstick and that's just wrong, wrong, wrong. To make myself feel like a fire engine, I wear red stilettos. They're high, shiny, and make me feel like I'm an absolute heartbreaker. We should all send in pictures of our sassy red lips.

What a great idea! Love lipstick - never tried fire-engine red though...shame on me! Don´t know if I can pull it off though...
To feel like a fire-engine I need blush and mascara! Never without!

Hugs,

It used to be my green vintage heels, but about five months ago our new puppy got into the closet and ate the strap off of one. I guessed he loved them too. I miss them, and keep looking fcr a new pair, no no avail. They were the perfect combo with a little black dresss. SOOOO sad!

Since curly hair can only get fluffier, I like to tease it up like the chick from Fleming and John and wear fabulous earrings. They kinda detract from the pudge on the South side of me. Also, green looks really really good on me. I've tried and tried to get the smokey eyed look with eyeliner and shadow, but usually end up looking like a tramp with black eyes, so I just stick to curled eyelashes and lots and lots of mascara. Here I am sitting at my desk realizing that I haven't worn makeup in over three weeks. Not even on Sundays. Thank goodness for the pregnancy glow. Ha!

Wow, I just love Lipstick Queen! Poppy's products are the best.

To feel like a fire engine I break out the vintage foundation garments and high quality stockings. Nothing like knowing your shape is bombshell and flawless!

Silk dresses. 5inch heels. Feathers in my hair. And high quality (therefore not trashy) fishnet stockings, preferably with a design/pattern like flowers or a piping line up the back of the leg.But the part that really makes me feel it, is the attitude. I could be completely gussied up, but if I doubt myself or how I look I still won't feel like a fire engine. Its really all about believing it - and then I can be in jeans and a sweatshirt and still feel damn fine

You know I follow you!

I get up and get dressed before the kids go to school. I do my hair and put on jewelry. I wear perfume even if the only one smelling it is me!

Sometimes it's hard to feel like a fire engine when there are 6 sticky hands around you all the time...but I'm working on putting mommy higher on the "to do" list!

Ooh yes, I am a dedicated red lipstick wearer. I've recently made the transition from earth-red to bright-red, which is pretty fire-enginey. I also take acrobatics lessons, which is fast, a little scary at times but also very fun!

PS forgot to say that you got a mention on my blog recently - www.stitchybritt.blogspot.com - in my 2010 wrap-up post

I just go shopping to cheer myself up. I think I have clothes hoarding tendancies so its starting to not make me feel as good. Maybe I should start taking acrobatic lessons...

What do I do to myself feel like a fire engine? I let myself :)

I run a facebook group called Silly Girls Photography. Each month we have a theme (this month is fairytales and nursery rhymes) we get our girl friends together, dress up, take pictures then upload them on upload day.

Today we did a spur of the moment Frost themed self portrait session.

Yep. I let myself feel like a fire engine x

Dear Kat,
what an awesome giveaway! I would love to be entered. Ironically, my main fire-engine move is red lipstick. My second would be wearing my pearl collar. Everyone always comments on it, so I feel special when I wear it. :)
love xoxoxo,
Amanda

I don't tend to wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis but one thing I do when I go out is take the time to put on some winged liquid eyeliner! It makes me feel extra sassy!

Thank you for the red suggestions. This is exactly what I need for 2011!

Wearing a sassy red dress makes me feel like a fire engine. Sadly, I don't have one at the moment. So I go to option #2, which can be done anywhere at anytime, and never gets old (at least not to me): SINGING
When I sing, it sounds freakin' awesome (that's what I keep telling myself)!!! It makes me feel alive.

But I also have several bright red necklaces, earrings and bracelets. I didn't like red before but lately I've really started liking it. :)

Oh this is the perfect giveaway ;) I've been searching for the perfect red lipstick to try. Plus red is my favorite color - eeeeee!!! I'm so excited!

What I do to feel like a fire red engine is wear some sexy red lingerie ;) If I want to feel extra sexy I'll wear it underneath my sweats when I'm doing some exercise ;) That sure takes away the grungy feeling away!

I always keep my toes painted red. Sometimes I add sparkles ;)

I get my hair done...which needs to happen soon. Haven't had a good cut & color for a few years. But I've been thinking over the last two weeks that it would be a great way to start the year off. I've been feeling a bit frumpy and once every few years should be the minimum, right?

Miss ya, Carrie
