Wait Up For Me

My parents are leaving today after two weeks of fun.
We are taking them to Atlanta so they can fly far far away from me, back to Southern California.
Oh, how I wish I could just jump in their suitcase and go home to the bedroom of my youth.
I love my life here with my Daniel but I will always want to go home too.
I guess my home is here now.
That is what my Auntie Alma told me.
Home is where your heart is, where my Daniel is, where the job is.
I never would have imagined that my home would be in Alabama.
But I will always miss my other home too.

Do you still wish you could go home?
Am I just a big baby?
Are you a big baby too?

Happy Wednesday Dear Friends

love love,
Fritzi Marie

If you're a baby, then I'm definitely a baby, too.

I would go home in a heartbeat.

I love my home (Scotland) more than anywhere I've been but prefer to live right now, where I am (California). It's torture otherwise. We just need to make new adventures for ourselves and love the journey.

I just miss home because someone could take care of me for a few days. It's nice to be pampered with love from your parents every now and then. Being an adult is hard sometimes, wahhhh. I still remember when Max was born and my mommy came to take care of me. Boy is that what I needed! She made me rice pudding, tucked me in on the couch, and watched old movies with me. It's not their fault, but sometimes husbands aren't as attentive as mommies.

I'm a big baby. I always want to go home, and I am about to move another 600 miles away.

I'm still home. It feels like home. My boyfriend used to travel everywhere so I asked him one day where does he feel at home & he told me wherever I will be with him it's then his home. =)
