Should We Go Outside?

My dear friend Lindsey sent me a link to an artist she is loving right now.
This painting spoke to me today.
I like to think that those birds are Dan and me.
You see, we are big on wishing around here.
Last year every wish was the same.
We were in every way united in our wish making.
Like these bluebirds we were fighting to make that wish happen.
And ours did, Dan got his job here in Alabama.

Just yesterday I realized that we we're getting settled, that wish had come true.
I was listening to this song by Joanna Newsom and thinking that I would be okay staying inside with my Daniel and Bono Baby.  Inside in the home that we are finally making.  The home that is starting to feel like "our" home.
It was yesterday that Dan asked me what my wish was (when 11:11 came around) and I was taken back.
What will I wish for now?

As I am uncovering many many treasures in my art room.
I'm finding wishes that had been packed away are reappearing.
My Mommy gave me this tin to house my wishes.

For now it is the home for my collection of mushroom birds.
They are waiting to be made into pretties and be sent out into the world to ask you "What's your wish for today?"
What will your answer be?

love love,

p.s. Happy Birthday Baby Brother.
I love you to the moon and back.

This is one of my favourite songs EVER! I got to see her live at the Royal Albert Hall in London a few years ago... She was amazing. I have never seen this video so thanks for sharing xxx

my wish for today is to trust deeply in my intuition and to let go of all doubts which are swirling on the surface. <3

Dear Hannah,

A crazy small world. You are so beautiful. I'm so happy I found your blog. The funny thing is, I spotted Robbie Smith on Vintage Vixen today. Either I'm online too much or Monrovia brought up some really cool kids. I think we're all pretty cool.

love and hugs,
Fritzi Marie
