Our Yard Is A Wonderland

Daniel and I spent three years living in Mississippi.
That means that we spent three years looking in the bushes on the side of the road for an armadillo that was still alive.
We saw many, many, many poor dead armadillo's.
Well, my dear friends and family, today was the day.
We just took Bono Baby for a late night walk and there was an armadillo (I named him Arnie) in our yard talking to our gnomes.
It was magical.

So far Bono Baby has met a toad and an armadillo in his yard.
We have also sighted a small garden snake and a coyote in the neighborhood.
Bono Baby stayed far far away from those guys.
They freak us out.

love love,
Fritzi, Daniel, and Bono Baby

I can't even imagine! I've never seen one. It's a bummer you didn't get a photo.

Back in Alabama already? We just "met" :( I've never seen an Armadillo, aside from the local zoo. What a sight! BTW- I need to make it to Salmon Days.. when is that?
