Our Own Little Stars Hallow

The little Alabama town we live in has it's own city square.
It reminds me so much of Gilmore Girls' Stars Hallow.
I've always daydreamed about living in a place like Stars Hallow.

This is our courthouse.
I'll be sharing your little tid bits about our city square on our Sunday adventures.
I think this town is going to need a troubadour.
Daniel is singing and playing "Reach for The Sky" by Social Distortion on his guitar as I'm writing this.
He'd be a great troubadour.

Speaking of Gilmore Girls, Lauren Graham will be returning in Parenthood this week (I believe) and you must check out this movie trailer

Hooray for Sunday adventures in our own little Stars Hallow

Oh, you're gonna love it there! My daughter lives in your little community and if it weren't so far from Birmingham, I'd sure be tempted to try to move down there, too. It's small enough, but has all the important restaurants. And some great shops. And thrift stores. The three things that matter most. Food, eye candy (Have you been to Ressurect, yet?) and bargains.

Dearest Trisha,

I just wish I could find a Miss Patty. I am desperate to take a tap dancing class and I'm on the hunt for one. Thank goodness I havne't run into a Taylor or Kirk yet.

Fritzi

p.s. I follow Parenthood on facebook and that is where I found out about there second season. It is such a great show. We don't have cable so I am going to watch it online hopefully. The only other show I watch is Mad Men.

Dearest Wanda,

I can't wait to get to know you better. I found your sweet little shop last night and goodness you have some treasure for sure. If you are ever in town and need a thrifting/treasure hunting buddy, let me know.

love love,
Fritzi

p.s. I happened upon Resurect the first week I was here. It was love at first visit. They are wonderful.

So pretty! We just don't get that sort of architecture over here - it's very unique to the States, I think? Love those blue skies too!
