Farewell To The Summertime

This morning we drove to Seale, Alabama to attend Resurrect Antiques Quilt Sale.

The sale was held in a home that was built in the 1880's.
The quilts, the home, the art was beautiful.

I wanted to take everything home with me.
I want to learn how to quilt.
I want to watch How To Make An American Quilt with Daniel tonight.

We can't wait to check out Butch Anthony's next art show in the area.

We had the most fun and to top it off there was a crafts fair going on at the Old Russel County Courthouse.

We had some lemonade and lookie lou'ed.

They even had a car show going on.
I wished I was in a pretty dress for photo's.

What did you do for the holiday?

love love,
Fritzi

Oh, I wish I'd been able to go!
I'm going to go to Butch's show in November too! We can go together!
:-)
can't wait to see you Wednesday so you can tell me all about the quilts!
Oh, and if you want to learn to quilt, I can teach you. Quilting is my natural habitat!
