Kindness Can Change The World

I am ever amazed by the kindness of my friends.
It seems that one of them always comes to my rescue when I need them most.
This past week, actually this past year, has been full of such rescue efforts.
I could not be more thankful and more ready to come to your rescue.
Today, my dear friend Lindsey sent me a "neighbor vase" and some other truly beautiful goodies
I can't wait to wear the vintage scarf she sent my way.
Lindsey and I have never met but I consider her to be one of my greatest friends.
How special is that?
Oh, how I wish we were neighbors but I will always think of her when I look at my "neighbor vase" and know that she is just an email away.
Thank you for being my friend Dear Lindsey.

I won Marsinah's summer giveaway on her blog Blushing Pearl.
She and I met while taking an online class.
She is from California (like me) and living up here in Seattle.
She has the most beautiful shop full of letterpress printed goodies that she creates on her vintage letterpress.
I was so surprised when her Blue Magnolia Flat Notes landed on my doorstep.
Surprised because we live in the same neighborhood.
I love that.
Thank you Marsinah for inspiring me and sending me such a beautiful set of cards.
They will soon be on there way to my friends in the south who love love love their magnolias.

It's the little things that matter.
The friendships we make and treasure can change our lives.
I want to be a good friend.
It means so much to know that someone out there is cheering you on and wishing you the best.
I'm cheering you all on, right now.
Can you feel it?

It doesn't surprise me that you have so many amazing people in your life. It's entirely a reflection of how you are with others. You are one of the most thoughtful, creative and beautiful people I know. I truly feel blessed to know you.

35 yrs.-1 day ago, I was at the Peppermill Restaurant in Pasadena with Nadine.......she was treating me to my "last meal" before the big event......except we didn't know that as you were supposed to be born in August, early August. I was feeling wonderful....having a pleasant day with a good friend. You bless my life. I love you. Mommy
