Treasure Hunt Goodies

We found this little PINK chair and I fell in love with it.

It will be getting a makeover.

Dan and I are not big fans of the color pink.

I'll show it to you when it's all prettied up.

Bono Baby likes it already.

Pink and all.

I found this little girls dress.
I think it will look adorable with a red and white striped shirt underneath it.
Now we just need a little girl to dress up.

Dan found some great books of poetry at the Seattle library book sale.
He was so super excited.

I've Been Dreaming About Cupcakes

A few weeks ago we went on a tour of Boehm's Candies.

Mount Rainier's (Dans favorite Beohm chocolate) in the making.

Hand rolled truffles

Chocolate Salmon for Salmon Days Festivities.

We're detoxing right now (phase one of South Beach) and I've been dreaming about sweets and cupcakes.

Revisiting this little trip to the chocolate store makes me feel like I just had a treat.

A treat with zero guilt.

P.S. My favorite part of the tour was in Mr. Boehm's apartment above the candy shop.

He had the same little girl lounging on a mushroom that I grew up with.

My Daddy always had this little girl sitting next to his bed.

He said it was his "Moonbeam" (his nickname for my Mommy).

He liked to pat her cute little bum.

I Wish I Could Go Back In Time

I want so badly to go back in time and take all of my college classes over again.

I missed out on so much.

I was too busy thinking about boys and playtime with my buddies.

It is so much fun to go back and re-learn.

I had so much fun at the Wyeth Art History Lecture tonight.

Andrew Wyeth: Distant Thunder

We are going to the library to learn more about Andrew Wyeth tonight.

We want to be prepared for our visit to The Seattle Art Musuem to see the Wyeth Exhibit.
We've been putting off our visit so we could go to this library event first.

I'm pretty excited about it.

In other news, today is the first day of Autumn.

I couldn't be happier.

I can't wait to wear my cozy warm sweaters, hats, and scarves.

My Treasure Basket Is Overflowing

My husband is home.

My Cammy is home.

My Garage Sale partner is home.

And he brought TREASURE from my real "home" in California.

He brought these adorable GNOMES which were waiting for me at my Mommy's.

They were wrapped up all pretty and tied with a big pink bow.

The happiest of birthday presents from my Jeannine and Sarah-friend.

I LOVE them.

We found this picnic/sewing basket at a garage sale this morning.

I can't wait to put all of my sewing supplies in it.
I'm sure it will go on a few picnic adventures too.

Oh, this is the coolest of all.
Devon sent me this book for my birthday.
How RANDOM.

Lookie, it's a secret book for me to hide my most secret treasures.
He filled it up with Polaroids of some of my favorite people in the world.
He is so creative and wonderful.
Devon, you are the COOLEST.

We found this little gem of a frame at a garage sale this morning too.
I'm collecting oval frames for a project I have up my sleeve.

My Mommy has been collecting them for me too.
She sent me these.
BEAUTIFUL.

I feel so loved.

p.s. I am so super happy that my Daniel is home safe and sound.

We Miss You Already

Dear Daniel,

We miss you.

We hope your flight went well.

We hope you don't get too sad while your in Monrovia, CA without us.

We're always there in spirit but we wish we were with you just the same.

Our State Fair, Is A Great State Fair.

We had so much fun at The Puyallup Fair.

We made so many new little friends.

My favorite were the little piggies.

The little pink ones are so ladylike.
I love to watch them walk away.
The have the cutest little behinds.
I also love that they walk like they are always wearing 4 inch. heals.
So dainty.

We saw so many beautiful animals.

We stopped for foot massages and elephant ears.

Cotton Candy and corn on the cob too.

The cotton candy lady hooked us up.

I love the Tilt-A-Whirl.

The perfect "official" trip to the fair.

I Know What I Like, And I Like What I Saw

We're going to the State Fair today.

We watched State Fair to get ready for the big day.

It's my first offical trip to the fair.

I am so excited.

I hope I get to see piggies.

Our First Kiss

We went to Alki Beach today.

We went to visit the bench where Dan first kissed me.

It was late at night on our first date. I came up to Seattle to meet him face to face. We had been talking for a few months. We spent the day exploring downtown Seattle. Then he took me to "our" bench.

The moon was full, sitting next to the Space Needle.
Dan describes the event better here.

Today, Bono Baby went to meet our special bench.

I think he liked it just as much as we do.

That night after we spent some time on that bench we walked around and Dan came to a decision: whatever song was playing when we got back in the car would be our song.
It's embarrassing but here goes:
