The Wife of Daniel

I read about Alicia Martin's Cascading Books on Black Eiffel this morning.
I couldn't help but giggle.
You see, since my life combined with Daniel's, my life attached itself to a huge book collection.
I can't help but imagine that this is what our front yard would look like if I was an over dramatic crazy wife and Dan really ticked me off.
It also reminds me of one of my favorite pieces of The Norton Simon Musuem of Art's collection. George Herms makes amazing assemblage pieces out of found objects.
He came to visit the museum when I worked there.
I was too shy to go up to him but my friend did.
She asked him to sign a postcard of The Librarian.
It is one of my most favorite treasures.

p.s. I would never hurt any of Daniel's books.

OH wow. You know I have a book sickness...in that, I love them, I want them around me at all times. If I was ever to live by myself, I would end up surrounded by stacks of books and coffee cups. I adore your P.S. - too funny.
