Let Us Take You On A Tour Of Salmon Days
(FYI: this is a really long post)

This year was Salmon Days' 40th anniversary.

We were O-FISH-AL volunteers. We even got to wear cheesy red t-shirts.

We welcomed the vendors to Salmon Days and gave them their welcome packets.
Bono said hello to everyone too.
A special treat.

We found a perfect seat for parade watching.

This little girl in the camel hair coat is precious.

We made friends with a hedgehog.

Dan and Bono had a treat.

The owls hooted.

I had a corn on the cob.

I wanted one of these but I left the calories behind.

We saw The Seattle Ukulele Players.

Dan had a special treat from Boehm's.

We saw a RUSH tribute band.
Dan was super excited about that.

My favorite part was this sweet girl who danced and danced.
She reminded me of the bumble bee girl.
She even did the splits.
ROCK ON SISTER.

We had a wonderful time.
We walked up the hill and looked back.
We can't wait for next year.

THANK YOU THANK YOU for putting up all of those great pictures. I haven't been able to go to Salmon Days for SO long(21 years?!) I can't believe it's really been that long. I'm getting old. It used to be such a highlight. Seeing all of the pictures kind of made me feel a little bit like I was there. The parade pictures made me very nostalgic.
I love Bono's sweatshirt and that he got to ride in the baby seat of the shopping cart.
I'm not sure I could have passed up the calories on those caramel apples. Well, maybe I could have if I had just eaten Dan's Boehm's treat right before. :)
I love the picture that you took from up on the hill looking down on it all.
I've got to get up there in Oct. some time.
