Happy First Day of Autumn

Andrew Wyeth: Distant Thunder

We are going to the library to learn more about Andrew Wyeth tonight.
We want to be prepared for our visit to The Seattle Art Musuem to see the Wyeth Exhibit.
We've been putting off our visit so we could go to this library event first.
I'm pretty excited about it.

In other news, today is the first day of Autumn.
I couldn't be happier.
I can't wait to wear my cozy warm sweaters, hats, and scarves.

What is your favorite thing about this time of year?

I'm super stoked for the exhibit. I enjoy the leaves chaning and the cooler air.

I left a comment on here last night. I see that it did not show up for your reading pleasure. Nothing noteworthy was written.....just commenting on the hot, smoky California weather.....the first of autumn feels like the hottest day in summer. So glad to see some pictures from the exhibit.....about doing it over again....it is one per customer. I, too, had my priorities set in what I consider now, the wrong order. Maybe not, though, as those days were enjoyable. Choices would change if we could go back knowing what we do as adults now....Therefore, what we did then is just that, what we did then in our youth. As for learning, what you and Dan did last night(visiting the exhibit) is an extension to the coursework you had earlier in classes....field trip type of learning.....We are going to the cottage this morning. We may hang draperies. There is just so much to do......I have projects at both places. I loved my visit with Ben. We went to Dad's gravesite and Ben did his usual clean-up procedure. He is such a dear person. It is wonderful to have four adult children....even, though I miss you terribly, I like what each of you is doing and how responsibly you live your lives. I support your efforts and delight in your achievements.......and am grateful for the support each one of you give to me.....sometimes I feel that a role reversal is transpiring. Each generation wants the next to do better than they did......I want you to be happy and serve in whatever way the Lord intended you to serve. Knowing what that way is, is the question you will discover....and you know how.....and you can do it. All my love......Momm
