What Do You Do To Help You Through The Stressful Times?

Dan and I like to go to the movies when we are stressed out.
We like to go when we're not stressed too.
But we have been really stressed out lately and we needed a stress reliever.
I think this past month has been the most stressful of our marriage.
We're all friends, I can be honest.
We went to see Julie and Julia in South Dakota.
It was a good movie for me to see right now.
I think it's a good movie for all of my girlfriends to see.

We also saw The Time Travelers Wife in Montana. I'm anxious to read the book so I can piece things together.

So really, how do you handle stress?
I need some tips.

Oh how I wish I had an easy answer for you. I'm always trying different things. I have several things going on right now that if I think too hard about them I could get extremely stressed out. My method recently has been to just remind myself that I only have so much control over them(actually very little), so it doesn't do me any good to worry about them. I also keep in mind that so many of the things that I've wasted so much time worrying about in the past really didn't need all of that worry---and they always worked themselves out. Everything will work itself out. Some day you may even look back on this time as being full of good memories--maybe even missing it. That's the way it always seems to work for me. One more thing---make an extra special effort to take good care of yourself. Do what you need to do to make yourself feel good personally. This always helps me a great deal.
You are in our prayers. I know that everything will work out for the best.

Sorry to hear your stressed. I wish I knew how to help. Quilting, sewing and crafting is my release. I've been quilting a lot lately. Love and miss you.
