Let's Celebrate

I haven't celebrated the Fourth of July in eight years.
My Daddy passed away on July 5th so it has been a Downer Sally kind of holiday for me since.
Well, I'm over that.
I still miss my Dad terribly but I'm pretty sure he wants me out On the Town.
So, dear friends and family, let's celebrate.
Let's be happy and be thankful for this wonderful country and for all the people who have helped us become who we are.
So, I'll be out at Gas Works Park on Lake Union celebrating with tons of people and making up for the past 8 years.
I can't wait for Saturday
xoxo
p.s. What are your celebrating plans?

Kat.......it makes my heart sing to know that you are celebrating the Independence Day holiday. Your dad is singing, too. Just put an extra zing and twirl around and extra time with your sparklers to make your dad smile. We went to the Patriotic Concert last evening.....a rousing rendition of patriotic songs!!! I love you both. Mommy
