Our original reason for going to Biloxi was to go to the Ohr-O'Keefe Museum of Art.

It was a beautiful little space. The galleries all had crystal chandeliers hanging in them. George Ohr's pottery was fascinating. It was so delicate and unique.

We are so happy that we were able to check this off of our list of things to see in Mississippi.
If we ever come back, we cant wait to see the new museum. Frank Gehry designed it and it looks like it will be beautiful.

Did I mention that my Daddy was in the Air Force and he spent some time at the Air Force base in Biloxi. It must have been in the 1950's. When we were driving down the road, next to the coast, I imagined what he must have looked like riding his motorcycle (in his twenties) with his hair blowing and his sun kissed skin.
I bet he looked super cool.
