My Last Day At The Pastry Garden

Today was my last day working at The Pastry Garden.

I was so sad. Dan came in and ordered up a "Dan" burger. Dan loves his protein and Jim is his enabler here in Mississippi. Jim makes a mean burger.

Dan is a fan of Jim's "Dan" burger.

Some of my favorite customers came in to wish me luck and send Melissa some love from Mississippi. Melissa, they want us to take care of one another and I promised them that we would.

Sonya is one of the hardest working women I know. I hope to be just like her when I grow up. She is amazing. I love how she can't even find the time to get in the photo.
I love you Sonya.

The 9'ish months that I have worked at The Pastry Garden have been happy months.
The Hinton's saved me in many ways. I will never be able to properly thank them for all they did for me. They treated me like family and let me be "me".

The Pastry Garden (behind me) will always be a special place for me. A place where cupcakes, shrimp and grits and lots of sass and love reside.
If you visit Hattiesburg, you must go visit and tell them I said HI.

I'm so sad too!! The Pastry Garden looks like such a great place---with wonderful people. I want to go there more than you know. I think I would have a problem limiting what I ordered though. Everything sounds so good. I'm so happy that you were able to work there this last year.
