A host of golden daffodils; Beside the lake, beneath the trees, Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
-William Wordsworth

We went on a mini break to Oxford, Mississippi, this weekend. It is about five hours away from where we live in Southern Mississippi. We loved Oxford. I have so many things to share with you. We first visited The University of Mississippi. What a beautiful campus.

It was a rainy sort of weekend (our favorite kind) and we enjoyed the cool weather.

My Mommy loves daffodils so I had to take lots of daffodil photos. They were missing the sun but I think they were happy to get some rain.

Dan didn't really want to take this photo because he didn't like how the mud interrupted the greenness of the grass, but I was only concerned with the pretty trees.

I don't know much about Oxford but I do know that it is beautiful and filled with history. We were so impressed with this little Mississippi town.
p.s. lots of photos to come

Dan helped to distract me from seeing that the mud interupted the greeness. I'm excited to see your pictures.
