Christmas Eve Shenanigans

We went to Auntie Lilly's church for the Christmas Eve service. It was beautiful. I got a photo of Auntie Lilly, Auntie Alma, and my Mommy (CJ too). I love that the California McLard sisters were able to be together for the holiday.

Benner and I went too but everyone else stayed home to get ready for the dinner party that Mom planned for after the service.

Brookie and Nettie (my cousins) went to the service too.

Buffy looks so good. She has lost a lot of weight and she looks amazing. These are the Christmas stockings she made a couple of years ago. They're pretty just like her.

Mommy and Dad CJ put on quite the spread.

Have I told you all how much I miss being around my sisters. I've found that I don't like being with them together though. Isn't that sad? Two's company, three's a crowd. It's that sort of thing. I always turn into a big baby and feel like the odd one out. I'm working on it though. Well, I plan to.

My Mommy really wanted to get a some family photos but we weren't organized enough. I think these impromptu ones are really nice though.

Annie and Buffy are so BEAUTIFUL.

Auntie Alma is the Queen. She can dress up like no other. I was in love with this red hat of hers and she had the cutest velvet gloves that were trimmed with leopard print. By the way, Auntie Alma gave me the coolest present for Christmas. Old photos of her boyfriends. I can't wait to share them with you.

Our dear friend Karyn came to be with us. I love this photo of Dad CJ and Karyn. It was a beautiful night. I think my favorite moment was at the church service where we all lit candles and sang Silent Night.
