Make me a bird so I can fly far far away.

Well, I'm staying put with my Daniel, even though I desperately miss California. Sometimes I wish I could just stay in my house and sit the next 8 months out. But, I know that is just my bad day/week talking (in my head). I must say that I have learned a great deal about myself during the past two years. I have some things to work on but I like who I am. I do want to admit to you, that you, my blog and my blog buddies, are my outlet and my best friends. I am so thankful for this here blog. I want to thank all of you for reading it and for commenting. It means more to me than most of you will ever realize.

On a happier note, Dan and I went on a date tonight. Dan did a reading at school. He was amazing, like he always is. Afterwards, we went shopping. I was hoping to find a treasure at the local mall but I left empty handed. Boo hoo. I'd rather shop online, anyway. (I told them!) Then we went out for Dan's birthday dinner. You see, Mommy and CJ gave Dan a gift certificate to a well known eatery. We decided to wait until we had a special reason to celebrate (since Dan's birthday isn't reason enough, and we were too busy with school starting back, etc.). And since Dan's reading went well we decided tonight was the night. So, we are well fed and making the most of our Friday night.

Dan had a very HAPPY birthday dinner.
Thanks Mommy and CJ.
xoxo

Going out to eat is always so fun. No dishes, people wait on you, no one saying "I don't like this!" Etc.

Glad you got a fun night out. Mine is tomorrow - whoo hooo!!!

You look so lovely with your pearls and little flower pin.

That is a great reason to celebrate. I can't believe I still haven't been to one of Dan's readings.

"If you're a bird, I'm a bird." I should watch that movie, but I think it will make me too sad.
