Lookie, Lookie...

3 bucks and a smile got me all sorts of goodness this morning. This photo isn't great. It still looks like I bought some junk but when you see them all gussied up in real Kitty life, I think you will see the potential my new treasures have.

The pretty little red bowl was originally nestled in a metal Santa sleigh. LAME. Now, our pretty little red bowl is a catch all for shiny change and TIPS from work. I think she likes her new calling. No one likes to be packed away and only brought out once a year.

Our new set of linen lemon napkins match our lemonade glasses perfectly. They (the glasses)were a find at an antique store in Jackson, MS. But they're from Pottery Barn so they're hardly antique. Cheap though.

Here's Daniel taking a break from his homework. It didn't last too long because it's hot and the love bugs are out in force.

Dan is cute.

We also found a set of rooster cocktail napkins. Love them. They match a set that my Mommy gave me a few years ago.

I bet roosters are really sassy at cocktail hour.

We also found a stash of cupcake toppers to be showcased at a later date. Oh, and some postcards...maybe someone will get one in the mail. Happy Saturday.

I am so amazed by what you find at these yard sales. I just don't feel like I would be able to find such cool stuff. I've actually never been too interested in yard sales. I might have to go sometime with you.

Dan IS cute! Treasures galore, I would pay top dollar for those santa picks, too cool. You have such a nack for finding the neatest stuff.

These finds are hot. I like it. It's funny that we both picked out the same cups. Now that you have them I think I have to have them too. I want to be like you in every way...just like when I was eight! I think that the lemon stuff looks like it is out of a cataloge...but, not Pottery Barn. Pottery Barn is boring. It's like the same stripes, floor cushions and couches in different colors over and over again. And overpriced. Yuck. But, I don't really like any decorating stores. I think it goes against the point of decorating. Why would you want your house to look like everyone elses? I still want my cups to look like yours, though. That is totally different. And, I am allowed to copy bc I am you little sister. You're used to me being your shadow.

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
It must have been cold there in my shadow,
to never have sunlight on your face.
You were content to let me shine, that's your way.
You always walked a step behind.

BUT DID YOU KNOW YOU ARE MY HERO!!
