This is what happens when you do dishes on Sunday.

I didn't make it to church today, "I feel like death." Dan came home to check on me and decided to do some dishes (silly compulsive Dan) while he was home. He had an episode with a knife and we had to run poor little Dan to the emergency room. Dan and his huge finger are home now. And he says, "It's still hurting." In other finger hurting news, this is old news but still one of Daniel's favorite things:

Sweet Hannah left muscadine jelly on our doorstep. She is so thoughtful. I won't let Dan slice the bread. Dan and Mr. knife are in time out.

Thank you, Pretty Hannah.

Poor Dan. That was so nice of him to come check on you and do some dishes. Hope it heals quickly. That is so cute how you said Dan and the knife are in time-out. It made me laugh.

Kat, remember when you cut your hand from doing dishes? That was a nasty cut. I can't remember if it was a knife. Was it broken glass?

Dan to the ER? I can't even picture it. I don't feel like Dan ever goes to the doctor. I want to see a picture of the finger when the bandage comes off. Hope you get a chance to rest and feel better now.

Amy,
My dishes accident involved a broken glass. Dan and I have an arrangement around here. He does the dishes and I do the laundry. But, I'm taking over the dishes this week. I'm going to be brave.
My cut was nasty. I had to have surgery. Thank goodness Dan's wasn't major.
love you,
Kat

Katherine,
I was surprized when Dan said he needed to go to the ER. It was a really big deal. It looks pretty gross so I'll email you the photo if you really want to see it.
love love,
kat

Oh that's right I forgot you had to have surgery! Sounds like a great deal you and Dan have set-up.
