Dan and I are lookie loo'ers so we had to take a drive around town to see what the low down was. I thought you would all like to be kept in the loop and it's fun to share some of our "home away from home" adventures.
Some local businesses were being smart and cautious and boarded up their expensive windows.
I worked at this Cellular South for 8 months. I was so happy that they decided to board up their windows. I spent many hours in that store staring out of those windows. Some of the nicest people work in there and they are very prepared to help with your phone needs (even if you get a little bit UGLY) in an emergency.Go Cell South.

That is one SAD lookin town there Kat. Maybe the hurricane winds will blow you westward where you belong.
I'm so glad you posted those pictures---I've wondered what it looks like there. I hope Cell South will be okay---and, of course, the Coca-Cola building.
