July 4th Highlights

We drove around downtown Hattiesburg looking for a 4th of July moment to capture. Here it is.
We also found some treasures at an antique store. I'll show them to you later this weekend. Fun. Fun. Fun.
We went to see the turtles on campus. This was as close as we could get (when Dan got closer he scared them off). However, we could still see baby turtles swimming around. Too cute.

Dan did some grillin'.
Hooray for tofu dogs.

Sparkler fun in a see through shirt.
Happy 4th of July weekend.

I love the festivities. Did Dan eat a real dog? I can't see Mr. Letha's eating a Tofu dog.

Buff,
Yeah, he's a meat eater. He loves Hot Dogs. He was checking out the news today to see who won the hot dog eating contest. That stuff grosses me out big time. I wish I could have made smores with you and Bono.

My favorite is the sparklers in the see-thru shirt. I was laughing. I'm a big fan of tofu dogs. I love that I can eat them and know there's nothing scary in them. You know we went to the county fair yesterday for the 4th. The 4 of us got to ride together on the sweetest elephant. She had a flower headdress on that was so cute. Nicole has been dying for me to tell you that her name was Kitty. I didn't notice it, but Nicole sure did. She was really excited.

Hey Kat! Glad you guys had a fun 4th. We made some of your yummy lemon zest and rosemary pasta that you posted the recipe for on the 4th and it was sooo good. Rick says that Dan emailed and said we need to make your famous lemon cake with it next time. Do you have the recipe? It sounds delish.
