I feel for you and the summer heat there. No one really knows what it's like(or really remembers what it's like) unless they're actually in it. How did people survive a hundred years ago there. Think of all of those plantation ladies in their hoops and skirts. AC is so great, but you still feel trapped inside.
Katherine,I don't understand how anyone lived this way 100 years ago. I'm a big wimp. I would have been very unpopular. The town GRUMP for sure. I try to remember what it was like at my Grandparents farmhouse (in Missouri) when I was young. I remember spending most of my time at the creek and we always had dirt rings on our necks. Oh, there was also lots of watermelon. I'll put a photo up of how we looked tomorrow. You'll love it. HUGs,Kat
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I totally understand about the heat and humidity! Kentucky can be absolutely miserable in July and August! Just love that AC! :)
I just got back to Phoenix. Dry heat. We we've been spoiled by California's weather.Buffy
