I am so excited because this is my last summer in Mississippi. It is hot and sticky and miserable. I am so thankful for air conditioning. I'm spoiled and I still complain. Well, here it is... thank you Air Conditioner, you are my best friend.

I feel for you and the summer heat there. No one really knows what it's like(or really remembers what it's like) unless they're actually in it. How did people survive a hundred years ago there. Think of all of those plantation ladies in their hoops and skirts. AC is so great, but you still feel trapped inside.

I don't understand how anyone lived this way 100 years ago. I'm a big wimp. I would have been very unpopular. The town GRUMP for sure. I try to remember what it was like at my Grandparents farmhouse (in Missouri) when I was young. I remember spending most of my time at the creek and we always had dirt rings on our necks. Oh, there was also lots of watermelon. I'll put a photo up of how we looked tomorrow. You'll love it.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I totally understand about the heat and humidity! Kentucky can be absolutely miserable in July and August! Just love that AC! :)

I just got back to Phoenix. Dry heat. We we've been spoiled by California's weather.
