It's finals week around here. Which means Dan's busy writing papers and I'm in charge of the Netflix movies for the week. Tonight was Jane Austen night. Masterpiece Theater did a season on Jane Austen. Tonight I watched a biography titled, Miss Austen Regrets. I was so disappointed by Anne Hathaways, Becoming Jane so I wasn't sure if this film would be good either. Miss Cross from Rushmore (Olivia Williams) played Jane Austen and I loved it and her. I can't wait for my next movie to come. They did versions of Persuasion (I don't think they could ever find a sexier Captain Wentworth), Pride and Prejudice (Colin Firth is Mr. Darcy), Sense and Sensibility (I love Kate Winslet), Northanger Abbey, Mansfield Park, and Emma.

Jane Austen fans, check them out.

Captain Wentworth

Just a little eye candy for you.

I loved Persuasion in middle school, but it only gets better as I get older. Even though I hate how trendy Jane Austen has become, I love it so much. I can't wait to watch the new movies. I am especially excited about Persuasion and Mansfield Park. Also, I think I need to get to know Emma a little better. The best part of this post, of course, is Captain Wentworth! I LOVE him.

Some of my favorite sister time with you involved slumber parties with carmel apple pops and Captian Wentworth.
Love you.

I love you girls. It is so fun to see what you reminisce about......and Kat, bangs or no bangs....you have the same, beautiful eyes either way.

Thanks for the tip on the new movies. I haven't seen Becoming Jane yet. I absolutely love Jane Austen.

Any chance you have read Austenland by Shannon Hale? I thought it was pretty funny.

Shannon Hale is in Kjersten's ward AND book club. NO pressure having a published author in your group! Never seen Persusion. Father and Sons campout is this weekend, maybe I'll introduce Lauren to a chick flick!
