THE BLUES'

We had a little impromptu pizza party/birthday shin-dig in honor of Martha. Her birthday is later this month but she will be so busy moving. I had big plans to make her a pretty cake but I ran out of time. So, Sam's Club to the rescue. This strawberry cake with lemon icing was good. Joey and Gaby put the candles on. That was cool! I bet Joey would be happy that I didn't say that was cute.

I think of Martha like a sister. You know those special friends who come into your life when you need them most. Martha is one of those friends to me. Sometimes, I feel like I don't have any friends (Boo Hoo.) Living in Mississippi, so far from my family and friends hasn't been the easiest thing for me(I don't think being away from home is easy for anyone.) Most of you know that I love home, I'm a cancer. That and many of my friends are mommies now and are so busy. That is why I love blogging so much, I get to stay in touch with my girls. Anyhow, point is sometimes I feel a bit lonely. Martha, befriended me when I truely felt friendless in Mississippi and I love her for that.

I know that the Blues' will be have so many grand adventures and I want to wish them all good things and happiness. I will miss you.

I know I'm over dramatic but o'well.

This looks like fun! You're frame on the fireplace looks good. That was a great find.
